Before the first freeze it is advisable to do a blowout that will remove all water, preventing damage to the components of your irrigation system. In the Okanagan we advise to have this service performed anywhere from mid-September to mid-October. Using a certified irrigation technician from EGI can give you the piece of mind that your system is blown out properly for the winter.

BLOWOUT GUARANTEE POLICY

Evergreen Irrigation ltd. is amending our warranty policy. As of spring 2023, all irrigation system will require an out side service shut off. And upon completion of a fall winterization "blow out" the service shut off must be fully closed and remain closed until a spring start up is completed. This will mitigate damage caused by leaking or weeping master shut offs or accidental turn on's during the winter months.

Installing a service shut off will and can reduce potential damage to your landscape. As you may be away and your neighbour or friend call you when away to inform you of a leak or irrigation running. They can be instructed to the out side shut off and stop the flooding or over saturation, without the need to go inside your house or look for a water key.

As of spring 2023 Evergreen Irrigation will only warranty blow out damage providing EGI has recently serviced or inspected the property to ensure the system is in good working order, prior to winterization, or "the blow out".
